SSC - "Youth"    It was a cold and crisp morning in a small, open forest. A light dusting of snow had fallen; not quite enough to bury the few hardy winter grasses, but just the right amount to muffle the usual forest sounds into an eerie silence. A light fog clung close to the ground too, obscuring the distance between the trees and distorting shapes.

Blue Tits are shows-offs. Also, the ones on Tenerife all seems to be chatterboxes as well.

Ayup, I know which ones you mean! I love all of the Passerines; a lot of them are teenie-weenie, fluffy little things are just adorable.

My favourite little bird - at least of the species' here in the UK - has gotta be the Eurasian Wren, though. I think I've got a photo of a fledgling one, somewhere.

The fluffy little birds are the best (for me especially the bright and colorful ones, like the warblers). It's well worth managing to spot them in the trees and bushes. XD

Ah yes, wrens! We usually get House Wrens here. I love the way their tail feathers stick up.
